Grown in the highlands of Guatemala, Primavera SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) coffee reflects the rich agricultural heritage and ideal growing conditions of the country’s central regions, particularly areas like Atitlán and Chimaltenango. With elevations typically above 1,500 meters, these regions offer a combination of volcanic soil, cool temperatures, and steady rainfall; factors that help produce dense, high-quality beans.
This lot is classified as EP (European Preparation), meaning it has undergone extra sorting to remove defects and ensure uniformity in size and appearance. This attention to detail enhances both the consistency and the cup quality, making it a reliable choice for roasters seeking a clean and well-processed Guatemalan profile.
The coffee is Swiss Water Process (SWP) decaffeinated, a chemical-free method that uses only water, temperature, and time to remove caffeine while preserving the coffee's original characteristics. This process makes it an excellent option for those who want to enjoy the notes of Guatemalan coffee without the caffeine, maintaining the integrity of its flavor and body.
We nerd out when we get new coffee in. We work closely with our green importers and coffee producers to not only ensure our coffee’s freshness and quality, but to make sure it’s responsibly sourced.
